I really have not completed a lot of crocheting this week. I worked a little bit on my snuggle bunnies -- made more poof tails and finished crocheting a pair of ears, but I think this bunny is going to stay with my baby girl because she's already named it, and it's in the rainbow yarn that she likes. No big deal, because I have plenty more colors to choose from.
I also started working on the Fantasm Shawl in Knit Picks Palette – Turmeric. This is definitely a piece that will need blocking, unless the border put on at the end helps to flatten it out a bit. As you can see from the picture, mine is curling up some. And it's not my tension. It is coming along well, especially considering that it's worked in Fingering weight yarn, which I really don't like working with, but I have a massive collection of (husband went shopping online for me when they had a sale—love the yarn, just prefer worsted weight or thicker, usually.) I may be doing this shawl in several colors since I have three skeins of each color and about 16 different colors. We'll see.
And I found this project shoved in my little work bucket that I apparently forgot about. It's the beginning two rows of a gypsy headscarf in a charcoal shimmery yarn.

I've reached the point where my supply of scraps and partial skeins has been mostly depleted, and I may now begin to work through my full skeins of yarn. My wonderful husband bought me a large amount of Knit Picks Palette Yarn a while back, and I've just been sitting on it. It's beautiful yarn—the colors are so vibrant. I just haven't been able to find the perfect project for any of the colors. I think I may have finally found a project that I want to try. It's a larger project, so I am only going to work on this one this week. It's the Fantasm Shawl (http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/fantasm).
I think it will look awesome in just about all the colors that Sam bought me, and since he bought me three skeins in every color that he got me, I'm pretty sure that I have enough to finish this project.

This week was spent working on my writing scraps and typing them all into my journaling program so I could clean up the piles of paper scraps that were sitting on the desk in my bedroom. I took a break from crocheting because my wrists were starting to hurt. I have some plans coming up on Monday for the week that involve new projects. Since my writings are almost done, I will pick the hooks back up this week.

Unless you count bunny parts (tails and ears), I really don't have any WIPs this week. I took a few days off to write because my fingers and wrists were hurting from crocheting and because I simply felt like writing for a few days. There will be WIPs next week hopefully. Lord knows, I still have a ton of partial skeins to use up on pretty projects.

This will hopefully be my final week of crocheting small projects from partial skeins for a while. I have made a lot of new items, but I still have a few more skeins to work with. I will be spending a lot of my time in the kitchen this week restocking my freezer with baked-up goodness, so I am only going to plan some quick crochets for larger sets. I've been thinking for a while now about making up a set of buy -n- sell fruits and vegetables for every toddler/child's first market stand, and although I had made up a few patterns on my own, I had a few vegetables that were fast becoming the bane of my crochet existence (darn you, corn on the cob, darn you!). So I went digging for patterns. Finally found a set at Drops Designs: http://www.garnstudio.com/lang/us/pattern.php?id=5835&lang=us
I will be making some of those pieces this week when my oven and I give out.

This is actually a two week sprawl of finished projects. I managed to almost half my scrap basket (not including all the off white yarn that I took out that is to be used for bunny bodies). I'm going to weave in all the ends in a little while, after I get Sam's stuff set out for work.
It's mostly headbands and drink cozies, but there are two cowls in the mix, an adult scarf, a toddler scarf, two keychains, a set of rainbow ponytail holders, and some flowers.
