What I Made This Week: March 1, 2014

Well, this is really more of a What I Made This Month post, since I haven't posted in a while and I haven't been keeping up with my weekly pieces.  I just have one massive box of pieces that I have finished but haven't photographed, so here they are:  two crowded pictures.

It's a lot of small projects, and one somewhat large project.  And yes, those are ends that I haven't woven in.  Ends are the bane of my existence.  They are evil, EVIL, I tell you!  I just really don't like doing them, to be honest, and nine times out of ten, I never can find my tapestry needle even though I have like fifty of them.  Eventually, I'll dig through my hooks and knitting needles, and I'll find a tapestry needle and weave all them ends in.  I think it's because "weaving" in ends is so much like sewing that I just avoid it.

In the top picture, the top two rows with the exception of the folded black piece are all washcloths.  The black piece is a bulky crocheted lace scarf.  The round pieces and the little square blocks are all coasters, and the green hat is a preemie/newborn beanie.

The entire bottom pictures except the three keychains and the top row of Christmas Tree ornaments are all coasters.  I have a lot of half skeins of cotton that I need to use up, and they are usually just enough to make about three or four round coasters.  I may add one more row around them if I find that people do not like them a little small, but for now, I'm going to try them at this size.

But that is what I have been working on for roughly the last month.  I have a larger project that isn't finished, but it still has a bit more work to do on it, so it's not in the pile for this photo.
